We design together
We choose your shape and shade together, mapping the brow to your face and checking it from every angle before we begin.
The shading
I layer fine dots of pigment to build a soft gradient, deeper at the tail, lighter at the front, for that powder-finished look.
Aftercare and touch-up
Healing is usually a touch easier than with strokes. Once healed, we perfect anything that softened at your touch-up appointment.

How is microshading different from microblading?
Microblading draws individual hair-like strokes, while microshading layers tiny dots of pigment for a soft, filled-in finish, closer to brow powder than to individual hairs. Shading tends to hold better on oily or sensitive skin, and many clients choose it for a more made-up look. The two can also be combined, and I will happily advise which suits your brows.
How long does microshading last?
Microshading usually lasts one to three years, fading gradually and evenly rather than patchily. Your skin type, sun habits and skincare all play a part. A perfecting touch-up follows your first appointment, and a refresh when the colour softens keeps the shape crisp. I will tell you honestly at your consultation what to expect for your skin.
Does microshading hurt?
Most clients find microshading very manageable, often easier than strokes, because the technique is gentle and layered. I work slowly, check in often, and the suite is quiet and private. If you have questions or worries beforehand, call me and I will walk you through the whole appointment so you arrive relaxed.
Can microshading fix uneven brows?
Yes, shading is wonderful for evening out brows that differ in height, fullness or shape, because the colour is built gradually and can be concentrated exactly where you need it. We map everything in pencil first, and nothing is permanent until you have approved the design in the mirror from every angle.
